Mumbai Crime Branch Seizes ₹1.23 Crore Worth of Charas, Two Arrested in Major Drug Bust

In a large drug bust, the Mumbai Crime department arrested drug suppliers and seized charas worth ₹1.23 crore. the two suspects were stuck near Mahim Railway Station on Saturday afternoon in a routine police patrol operation.
The arrested people, diagnosed as Karan Ramesh Singh and Abhishek Rajendra Singh, each aged 29 and residents of Mira road, have been acting suspiciously when the police stopped them for wondering. Upon looking their bags, the police discovered the contraband.
Karan became wearing 112 grams of charas, worth ₹11.20 lakh, while Abhishek had pouches containing a complete of 1.12 kilograms and a hundred and twenty grams of charas, worth ₹1.12 crore.
The police revealed that the charas have been transported from Uttar Pradesh, and the accused have been planning to sell it in Mumbai. further investigations are ongoing to tune down the people to whom the drugs have been supposed to be sold.
The accused have been produced in court docket on Monday and remanded to police custody till January 15 for further thinking. The bust highlights the continued efforts by way of the Mumbai Crime department to combat the unlawful drug trade inside the city.
